Waterloo Region Kids Country ClubChildren who are medically fragile/technologically dependent can access respite up to the age of 18 years in this respite home located in Cambridge.
Parents for Community LivingRespite is offered for children 5 years to 18 years, overnight on weekends, Friday to Sunday at a children’s group home located in Waterloo.
Sunbeam CentreRespite guests are primarily individuals who are medically fragile/technologically dependent. Respite is accessed overnight on weekends.
- Weekend Parent Relief is located in Waterloo and is day respite for children ages 5 years to 18 years.
- McFadden is a children’s group home in Kitchener and has one funded bed for respite. Respite is used overnight through the week and weekends for children ages 5 years to 18 years.

A Respite Coordinator at DSRC assists children from Waterloo Region, who are eligible for developmental services, in seeking residential respite supports from Waterloo developmental service agencies. Adult respite is coordinated by Developmental Services Ontario Central West Region.
